Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid subscriptions (Core, Pro, Expert, and Team). If you are not satisfied for any reason within 30 days of your first purchase, contact us and we will issue a full refund. No questions asked.

Email us at hello@mechanixcalc.com with subject "Refund Request" and include the email address on your account. We will process your request within 2 business days. Refunds are issued to your original payment method via Paddle, our payment processor.

The 30-minute anonymous preview and the 14-day account trial (full Expert access) are both provided free of charge. No payment method is required and no charge is made during the trial, so there is nothing to refund for trial usage. The trial does not convert to a paid plan automatically — you are only billed if you actively choose to subscribe. This lets you evaluate every tool risk-free before paying anything.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual). If you wish to avoid a renewal charge, cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Renewal charges are generally non-refundable outside the 30-day window from the original purchase date.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future billing. You retain access to your paid tier until the end of your current billing period, at which point your account reverts to the Free tier.

If you downgrade from a higher tier (e.g. Pro to Core), the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time on a higher tier unless the request falls within the 30-day guarantee window.

When you upgrade mid-cycle (e.g. Core to Pro), you are charged a prorated amount for the remaining days in your current period. The prorated charge is handled automatically by Paddle and is non-refundable unless it falls within the 30-day guarantee window.
